Seminar – Creating a Community of Spiritual Formation

Join leaders from MBCM and Mennonite Church Manitoba on November 8-9 for the “Creating a Community of Spiritual Formation” seminar which promises to help us understand and address the spiritual quest of Canadians today.  As a former pastor and graduate of Princeton, Angela Reed will give practical models for providing congregationally-based spiritual guidance.

Angela Reed is Assistant Professor of Practical Theology and Director of Spiritual Formation from George W. Truett Theological Seminary, Baylor University

‘”I’m spiritual but not religious”.  In thousands of variations, many emerging adults today affirm this truth.’  – Richard Osmer in Angela Reed’s book, Quest for Spiritual Community: Reclaiming Spiritual Guidance for Contemporary Congregations

I encourage you to attend this seminar intended for lead, associate and youth pastors, chaplains, lay leaders and students preparing for ministry.  The event is offered in partnership with Mennonite Church Manitoba and CMU.
