SOAR Heartland 2014

MB Mission would like to extend a huge thank-you to the team leaders, volunteers, ministry hosts and participants of SOAR Heartland 2014. SOAR would not have run as smoothly and as well as it did without incredible partnerships that have we have developed with volunteers, ministry hosts and churches.

They enjoyed a strong year of discipleship and ministry. This year, returning participants had the opportunity to choose from specialized learning tour tracks during orientation. These tracks educated students in evangelism, intercession, poverty, at-risk youth and spirituality from an Aboriginal perspective.

During orientation the SOAR teams had the opportunity to spend time on the CMU campus for worship, team building and spiritual formation before being commissioned into the ministry week.

The SOAR community was once again blessed with another highly skilled media team. Erick Penner, Ellaina Brown, Taylor Brown and Jay Siemens captured the stories and memorable moments of program. We have launched a number of their videos on our SOAR Heartland Facebook page, but they can also be found on MB Mission Central Canada’s Vimeo site.
